EXPLORA III | Ocean Terrace Suite
Miami, FL, United States of America
Welcome aboard
EXPLORA III departs Miami at 17:00. Once aboard, leave the city behind slowly: unpack, step onto your terrace as the ship eases away from port, then allow the first evening to remain entirely your own.
Your Ocean Terrace Suite
Your 35-square-metre / 377-square-foot suite is designed as a genuine home at sea. Floor-to-ceiling windows draw natural light across the room, while the private sun terrace gives you an uninterrupted connection to the water. A dining setting makes breakfast or a quiet supper outside possible, and the daybed is made for long Caribbean afternoons between ports.
The interior is calm and residential rather than nautical: generous proportions, refined European detailing, and enough separation between sleeping, sitting and outdoor space to settle in properly.
Tip
Your booking benefits

Day 2 Sat · 6 Feb 2027
ActivityStarts10:30
At Sea | Ocean Wellness Ritual
A restorative first day at sea
Wake to open water and take breakfast slowly, either on your private terrace or in one of the ship's light-filled dining spaces. There is no need to learn the whole ship at once; this first sea day is arranged around a single restorative appointment.
Ocean Wellness for two
A 90-minute ritual for two, drawing on Explora's ocean-inspired approach to relaxation, sleep and mindfulness. Arrive 15 minutes early to settle in and make use of the thermal and relaxation spaces.
The afternoon is deliberately open. Move between a heated pool and your terrace, have a late lunch at Shore Club on 11, then return to the suite while the light changes across the sea.
Evening
Dinner is at Fil Rouge, where French technique meets a broader international menu. Leave the rest of the night unscripted: a piano recital, a quiet drink or an early return to the suite all suit the rhythm of the crossing.
Attire: Resort casual by day; elegant casual for dinner
Day 3 Sun · 7 Feb 2027
ActivityStarts11:00
At Sea | Chef's Kitchen
A day for flavor and open water
The second sea day has a little more energy without becoming crowded. Begin with a walk on deck or a late breakfast, then join a small-group culinary session before keeping the afternoon free.
Chef's Kitchen
In an intimate ocean-front kitchen, an Explora chef leads a hands-on session for just 12 guests, moving through ingredients, textures and techniques before you taste what the group has prepared.
Afterward, the day belongs to you. Settle beside one of the five heated pools, read on the terrace or drop into an enrichment session if something in the daily programme catches your interest.
Evening
Tonight is reserved for Anthology at 19:30, Explora's refined Italian dining experience. The tasting menu is a measured finale to two days at sea before the first island morning.
Day 4 Mon · 8 Feb 2027
ActivityStarts10:30
Philipsburg | One Island, Two Flags
Princely Philipsburg
EXPLORA III docks at 09:00, leaving time for breakfast and an easy walk ashore before your guide meets you.
Your four-hour circuit reveals the contrast between Dutch Sint Maarten and French Saint-Martin. Look across Simpson Bay Lagoon, follow the coast through Oyster Pond, Orient Bay and Grand Case, then return to Philipsburg for the boardwalk and Front Street.
The island's split identity is the point of the day: two languages, two administrations and two distinct rhythms sharing one compact Caribbean landscape.
After the tour
Back at approximately 14:30. The rest of the afternoon is yours for Great Bay, the boutiques of Front Street or a quiet few hours aboard. The ship stays docked until 21:00, so the pace never needs to feel hurried.
Duration: 4 hours · Pace: Moderate · Language: English · Two guests
Day 5 Tue · 9 Feb 2027
ActivityStarts11:00
Gustavia | Catamaran to Colombier Bay
Plage Colombier, 97133 Gustavia, France
Distinguished Gustavia
The ship anchors off St. Barthélemy from 09:00, with tender service into Gustavia. Go ashore after the first rush and give yourself time to enjoy the harbor before boarding your catamaran.
Sail along St. Barth's rugged western coast to Colombier, a secluded bay accessible only by boat or trail. Swim in clear water, then stretch out on deck with a cold drink as the catamaran turns back toward Gustavia.
The three-hour sailing is intentionally light: enough time in the water to feel the island, without giving up the pleasure of Gustavia itself.
Late afternoon and evening
Back at approximately 14:00. Linger over lunch by the harbor, browse Rue du Général-de-Gaulle or return to the ship for the pool and a change before coming ashore again. With departure at 23:00, this is the journey's best evening for dinner under the lights of the harbor.
Duration: 3 hours · Pace: Effortless · Refreshments included · Two guests
Tender required.
Day 6 Wed · 10 Feb 2027
ActivityStarts10:30
Basseterre | St. Kitts Scenic Railway
Saint Kitts Scenic Railway, Island Main Road, St. Peter's, Saint Kitts, Saint Kitts and Nevis
Sugar-Coated Basseterre
Alongside at 09:00, beneath St. Kitts' green volcanic ridges. The day trades exertion for perspective, tracing the landscape through the railway built to serve the island's former sugar estates.
Board the narrow-gauge railway for a three-hour journey through cane country, coastal villages and plantation history. Double-deck carriages open the views toward Mount Liamuiga and the Caribbean, while commentary places the island's dramatic scenery in its historical context.
The experience is gentle and panoramic, well placed after a day on the water in St. Barth.
Afternoon aboard
Back at approximately 13:30 for lunch and a slow afternoon by the pool. If you feel like stretching your legs, Port Zante and central Basseterre remain close to the ship before the 19:00 departure.
Duration: 3 hours · Pace: Effortless · Refreshments included · Two guests
Commentary in English, Italian, Spanish, German and French.
Day 7 Thu · 11 Feb 2027
ActivityStarts09:00
St. John | Beach & Heritage Journey
Maho Bay Beach, Coral Bay, VI 00830, United States of America
St. John: a Caribbean hideaway
EXPLORA III anchors off Cruz Bay at 08:00. Take an early tender ashore for a morning that joins the island's layered history with the calm water of its north shore.
Travel through Virgin Islands National Park with a local guide, stopping at plantation ruins, cultural landmarks and scenic overlooks. The route finishes at Maho Bay, where sheltered water and a pale arc of sand create time for a swim before returning to Cruz Bay.
Because roughly two-thirds of St. John is protected parkland, the island still feels forested and lightly held: the right final call after the busier ports earlier in the week.
Return to the ship
Back at approximately 13:55, a comfortable tender buffer before the 17:00 departure. Lunch and the afternoon are left open aboard; watch St. John recede from your terrace as the ship turns toward Puerto Rico.
Duration: About 4 hours 55 minutes · Pace: Moderate · Language: English · Two guests
Tender required.

San Juan Cruise Port Terminal, Calle Muelle, San Juan, PR 00906, United States of America
Good morning, San Juan
Enjoy a final breakfast before leaving your Ocean Terrace Suite and completing disembarkation.
Old San Juan begins just beyond the harbor: blue cobbles, shaded plazas and tiers of painted colonial facades climbing toward the old forts. Your cruise arrangements conclude as you leave the ship; onward plans begin separately.
