Virtuoso

The largest of them all, and the one whose name you have probably seen on a hotel's website without knowing what it meant.

What comes with your stay

  • A complimentary room upgrade, when available.
  • Complimentary breakfast for two guests each day.
  • Priority for early check-in and late check-out, when available.
  • A US$50 to US$100 property credit, or the local-currency equivalent, for your stay. The hotel determines the exchange rate, and the amount varies by property.
  • Exclusive amenities and experiences, which vary by property.
  • Preferred rates and availability.

Where you can stay

Roughly 900 properties listed publicly: Europe 352, North America 220, Asia 110, Caribbean 64, South America 50, Africa 45, Oceania 41, Central America 19, Middle East 16. More than 60 hotel collections.

Virtuoso is a by-invitation network of luxury travel agencies, and its hotel programme is the widest in the business: roughly nine hundred properties on the public directory, across more than sixty hotel collections, from Aman and Belmond down to the single great hotel in a town you had to look up. Where a brand programme covers one company's estate, Virtuoso covers the field, which makes it the fallback that is almost never a compromise.

Because it spans so many owners, the stack is a floor rather than a ceiling. The four core benefits are contractual across the network; individual properties routinely add to them.

These benefits come from the partner programmes this practice belongs to, and they are added to your reservation when we make the booking. They cost you nothing: the rate you pay is the rate you would find yourself. What varies is the property, because each programme sets its own terms and a few of them set them hotel by hotel.
