Marriott Luminous

The wider half of Marriott's advisor programme, covering the brands you actually end up in on a working trip.

What comes with your stay

  • A complimentary VIP upgrade to the next room category, upon availability.
  • Complimentary continental or full breakfast for two.
  • Early check-in and late check-out, based on availability.
  • A personalised welcome amenity reflecting the personality of the hotel and the destination.
  • Complimentary basic Wi-Fi.
  • No hotel credit. A credit is a STARS benefit, not a Luminous one.

No property credit. That is a Marriott STARS benefit.

Where you can stay

  • W Hotels
  • JW Marriott
  • Autograph Collection
  • Westin
  • Marriott Hotels
  • Le Méridien
  • Renaissance Hotels
  • Tribute Portfolio

Luminous sits below STARS and covers W, JW Marriott, Autograph Collection, Westin, Marriott Hotels, Le Meridien, Renaissance and Tribute Portfolio. It is the broader net by a wide margin, and for a city trip where the Autograph property is the right address, it is the programme that applies.

One honest difference to know going in: Luminous does not carry a hotel credit. Breakfast, the upgrade, the amenity and flexible hours are all there. The folio credit is a STARS benefit.

These benefits come from the partner programmes this practice belongs to, and they are added to your reservation when we make the booking. They cost you nothing: the rate you pay is the rate you would find yourself. What varies is the property, because each programme sets its own terms and a few of them set them hotel by hotel.
