Aman means peace. Janu means soul, and the brief was connection rather than seclusion: bigger social spaces, a wellness floor built for actual use rather than contemplation, restaurants meant to fill up. Janu Tokyo opened in Azabudai Hills in 2024 with eight food and drink outlets and a four thousand square metre wellness centre, which is not a sentence anyone would write about an Aman.

The brand is young and the estate is still small, so treat the benefit list as the Aman framework applied to a portfolio that is still being built.
