Accor is a French group with a very large mass-market business and, above it, a genuinely serious luxury division: Raffles Singapore, the Fairmont Banff Springs, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, plus Banyan Tree, Delano and SLS. Accor Preferred is the advisor programme covering that upper tier, 189 hotels across eight regions.

It is also one of the few programmes that publishes its credit as an actual number rather than a shrug, and the upgrade can be confirmed at booking rather than left to check-in.

These benefits come from the partner programmes this practice belongs to, and they are added to your reservation when we make the booking. They cost you nothing: the rate you pay is the rate you would find yourself. What varies is the property, because each programme sets its own terms and a few of them set them hotel by hotel.
