Tauck River Cruising

Fora ReserveRiverLuxury

European river cruises from a family-owned American tour company, with most costs included in the fare.

River ship passing the Hungarian Parliament in Budapest

Tauck has been arranging journeys since 1925 and remains in the hands of the founding family. On Europe's rivers, it operates its own ships and carries fewer passengers than vessels of the same length usually do, giving over the space to larger suites and a second dining venue.

Each sailing is accompanied by a cruise director and several Tauck Directors, who travel with the group throughout and handle the practical details ashore. The company is known for evenings arranged privately in palaces, châteaux and wine cellars along the route. Guests are largely American, the tone is courteous and well organised, and selected departures are designed specifically for families travelling with children.
