Themed festival cruises built around music, comedy and fan communities.

Ship at sea beneath a dramatic sky

A Sixthman sailing is less a cruise than a festival that happens to be afloat. The company charters an entire ship, hands it to a band, a genre or a fan community, and fills several days with performances on the pool deck, in the theatre and in the smaller lounges late into the night.

The attraction is proximity. Artists are on board for the whole voyage, so alongside the concerts there are question-and-answer sessions, collaborations between acts and chance meetings at the bar. Many guests return each year for the same event and treat it as a reunion. The ships are conventional large vessels with the usual restaurants and cabins, and sailings are short, generally a few days in the Bahamas or the Caribbean.
