Your VIP perks for booking with us
- An onboard credit through Virtuoso, often available on select sailings: $50 for an oceanview stateroom, $100 for a balcony, $150 for a Club Balcony Suite and $200 for a suite or The Haven.
- The credit can be combined with Norwegian's published offers, such as Free at Sea.
VirtuosoNorwegian chooses the sailings, the booking must be made at least 121 days before departure, and studio and inside staterooms are excluded.
Norwegian built its name on doing away with the fixed dinner sitting. Its ships offer a spread of restaurants, bars and lounges to be used at whatever hour suits, with no assigned tables and little in the way of dress rules. The line calls the idea Freestyle Cruising, and it sets the tone for everything else on board.
The ships are large resort-style vessels with water slides, theatres and, on the newer ones, a go-kart track on the top deck. Solo travellers are better served than on most big ships, thanks to studio cabins with a shared lounge. At the other end of the scale is The Haven, a keycard-access enclave of suites with its own courtyard, pool and restaurant. In Hawaii, Norwegian keeps a ship sailing between the islands all year.
