Ecoventura - Galapagos
Fora ReserveExpeditionLuxury
A small fleet of expedition yachts in the Galapagos Islands, carrying 20 guests each.
The Galapagos National Park limits the size of groups that may go ashore, and the islands reward travelling in small numbers. Ecoventura, a family-owned Ecuadorian company, has built its operation around that fact. Its yachts carry only a small number of guests, with naturalist guides on board, so groups on the trails and in the water stay small.
A week follows a steady rhythm. There are landings morning and afternoon to walk among sea lions, marine iguanas and nesting seabirds, with snorkelling, kayaking and paddleboarding in between. The yachts are modern and comfortable, with a sun deck and outdoor dining, and the cooking draws on Ecuadorian produce. The company has a long record of supporting conservation in the islands, and the small scale is part of that commitment.
