Aman at Sea
Fora ReserveYachtUltra Luxury
The yacht venture from the Aman hotel group, built around a single all-suite motor yacht.
Aman built its name on small, quiet resorts, beginning with Amanpuri in Phuket in the late 1980s, where space and privacy counted for more than spectacle. Aman at Sea is the group's attempt to carry that idea onto the water. It is a new venture, centred on a single purpose-built motor yacht, Amangati.
The design follows the resorts closely. Every guest stays in a suite, the number of people on board is kept low for a vessel of its size, and the public spaces are planned so that the yacht rarely feels occupied. A large spa and a restrained, Asian-influenced aesthetic are part of the brief, as on land. Because the yacht is new, the character of a voyage is best understood through the hotels: calm, spare and closely attended.
